Valencia will host Bringing Out the PRO in Administrative Professional. The entire day will be dedicated to a variety of workshops that will help you get ahead in the workplace.

The Office Clutter Cure
Break out of those piles on your desk! This session will give you some practical tips to keep your work and your workspace organized.
The Impromptu Professional
When opportunity knocks, it seldom makes an appointment beforehand. This fun, lively workshop on extemporaneous speaking will give you the communication tools for conducting yourself with savvy in any unexpected situation.
Breakout Session #2 (pick one)
Crucial Conversations
What do you do when you have strong emotions, differing opinions, or high stakes at hand?  Learn to share information safely, get ideas and feelings out in the open, and maintain high levels of respect in the workplace.
How to Get Things Done and Take Control of Time, Tasks, & Priorities
In today’s workplace, you need to know how to handle competing priorities; shift gears smoothly; and coordinate and negotiate responsibilities, schedules, and resources with others. Learn some great tips to keep things moving along!
Breakout Session #3 (pick one)
Extreme Makeover: The Desk Edition
In this session, you will fill your “tool box” with a variety of techniques and tips to makeover your workspace in a way that will help you become more efficient, evaluate and prioritize critical tasks, and project a professional image.
Battling the Beasties: Dealing with Hard-to-Handle People
This workshop provides an approach to navigating change where participants explore skills that help them deal with change both individually and interpersonally, and they develop strategies to deal effectively with a change that’s difficult for them.
